Founded in Bordeaux (France) in 1997, under the moniker GORGASM, the band finally record its debut full-length album “Neurotripsicks” in 2004 for Deadsun Records.With this CD, they cut a deal with Willowtip Records (US), who decided to re-release “Neurotripsicks” in 2005 with two brand new bonus tracks.At this same moment, the band decided to rename themselves to GOROD to avoid confusion with the Chicago death metal outfit of the same name.

Freddy Fender was one of the few Hispanic stars in country music, a singer and songwriter whose work was defined largely by its strong Latin sensibility. Born Baldemar Huerta to a family of migrant laborers in San Benito, TX, on June 4, 1937, Fender began playing guitar early in his childhood. After dropping out of school at the age of 16 to join the Marine Corps, he released his first Spanish-language recordings under his given name in 1958.

Edmundo Ros and his orchestra with the prestige of another recording of Decca Phase 4 Stereo in an album released in Spain in 1974, bringing together twelve songs having in common the fact to be about regions or cities from the South. The bongo percussion instrument is the protagonist. Musical arrangements have been carefully adapted to all Latin-American rhythms.
