Fire Make Thunder marks the fourth undertaking for the collaborative duo known as OSI. Formed in 2002 by Jim Matheos and Kevin Moore, OSI is a long distance partnership, both musicians typically writing and recording alone and sending song ideas back and forth for further elaboration. Written and recorded throughout most of 2011, this latest release once again reflects the eclectic influences of both Matheos and Moore. Returning as the bands session drummer is Gavin Harrison of Porcupine Tree, this time co-writing one of the tracks with the band. All other instruments and programming were performed by both Matheos and Moore, while vocals and lyrics were handled exclusively by Moore.

'Submission' is far more energy- and passion-driven than anything we've done before. There is a lot more melody and a hell of a lot more thrash. The plan was to create an album that harnessed an energy to it that could be felt, not just heard."

Susan Kay "Suzi" Quatro is a British-based American singer-songwriter, bass guitar player, and actor. She is the first female bass player to become a major rock star - this success in the 1970s empowered women. In the 1970s Quatro scored a string of hit singles that initially found greater success in Europe and Australia than in her homeland. In 2010 she was voted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends online Hall of Fame. She continues to create new albums, to perform, and to research/present new radio programmes.

In January 2007 e.s.t. were on tour in Asia and Australia performing shows in Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama, Jakarta, Perth and Sydney. It was their third tour of Japan and their second time on the fifth continent and the venues and audiences had become noticeably bigger. Only a few weeks before they had finished their triumphant tour of Germany performing their now legendary Live in Hamburg concert (awarded Album of the Decade by the London TIMES). It was undoubtedly the prime time of the style defining jazz band of the Noughties. Esbjörn Svensson, Magnus Öström and Dan Berglund decided to rent the famous Studio 301 in Sydney for their off-days in the middle of the Australian tour and jammed for two consecutive days to develop new songs and material.

Although glam had long slipped off the radar by 1981, that year found Suzi Quatro releasing one of her finest albums. With Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman (the producers behind her biggest hits) at the controls, Quatro and her band craft a series of songs that blend the hard rock power that fueled her glam rock era hits with a new soundscape that tarts up the songs with some ear attracting new wave hooks.

With the incredible response to previous album 'Blood of the Nations' (which introduced new vocalist Mark Tornillo), expectations were high for the next one, but believe this: 'Stanlingrad' not only meets those expectations, but totally surpasses them! Accept's 13th album is amongst their absolute best, and that's not an easy feat. Hail the Metal-Hearted German Gods!
