The only real downside of this record is its length. But everyone is ON, right on, and the energy is remarkable. For Kaiser fans this will be a revelation. He's channeling Cosey, McLaughlin, and Sharrock (each of whom shaped Miles's sound from this period), but also doing his own Kaiser-effects. And they don't sound out of place! Smith sounds much closer to Miles than I would have expected. This isn't a bad thing of course. The other players here are fantastic, too, especially the bass clarinetist Oluyemi Thomas. John Medeski, the ROVA quartet, Greg Goodman, and Nels Cline are also here. It's a fine group of musicians lovingly indulging in the many sounds of Miles's 1970–1975 performances.

This is a beautiful compilation of Stephane Grappelli in the 1950s, a jazz violin genius with all his swing.

Two Man Sound was a Belgian trio active during the 70s composed of Lou Depricjk, Yvan Lacomblez and Sylveer Van Holmen. Especially devoted to disco dance music they released disco dance music and Brazilian rhythms (samba and bossa). This album is one of those that published with this musical pattern. With support on Latino themes and rhythms like cha-cha, mambo and salsa the opening theme is an 'non stop' format, this time with cha-cha rhythm. It was frequent use of DJ's and regular item on disco parties.

The song in Spanish has one of his greatest solo voices of the second half of the twentieth century in singer Miguel Rafael Martos Sánchez (Linares, 1943), aka 'Raphael'. He maintains a very long career and his personality, his expression and his voice have made him popular among the general public and among his legions of fans, having become one of the myths of light and pop music in Spanish. This album is one of the collections of his work and collects twenty songs that were his greatest hits until 1988, when they met about 30 years of his career.

In 1966, when even the Doors and the Grateful Dead were still at a garage band level, Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention took great pride in being the ambassadors of freakdom. The hippie/flower power culture was just getting under way, but the Mothers' debut album found them already taking great delight in turning Aquarian imagery inside out. No starry-eyed rainbow people, the Mothers were the living incarnation of underground comics such as R. Crumb's Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers: nasty, ugly, and downright dirty.

This Austrian band produces disturbing sounds, full of pain and anger, and then they can all of a sudden shift to a softer, relaxed beat that makes you wonder if that is the same band. They swing back and forth between more rock oriented tracks and more avant-garde ones. The overall result is a very cool and interesting mélange of different approaches – from a more direct rock approach to a more unorganized, chaotic and experimental approach. The musical range is as wide as experimentalism is.
