Datura Curse from Sydney Australia started out as many bands do. Two guys in a basement with their guitars, their amps and their mutual love of heavy metal. A lot has changed in the world of Datura Curse since 2008, as they have since morphed into one of the strongest acts in the Australian metal scene. After six month of hard work Datura Curse announce the title and track listing of our forthcoming full length album, "Take the Head of the King" best describes the sentiments behind this 9 song metal journey which will be available to you sometime in the next few months.

The complete long unavailable LP, Benny Goodman Swings Again (Columbia CS8379), FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ON CD. It features an all-star formation of the Goodman orchestra, including Jack Sheldon, Flip Phillips, Red Norvo, and Russ Freeman, as well as one sextet and two quintet tracks. This music was recorded with professional equipment live at Ciro’s, in Hollywood. As a bonus, we have added seven rare tracks from the same period, including four alternate versions of tunes from Benny Goodman Swings Again…

The movie Fantasy by Walt Disney was presented to the public in 1940 and was a breakthrough not only in the animated film, but one of the first recorded music in stereo, which also served to start popularizing classical music among the public little or nothing prepared for it. The soundtrack LP was not published until the 50s. This album, including double CD, was released in 1990 celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the launch of the original work. The original analog records were cleaned and remastered for the occasion but, bridging the gap with the current state of the art audio, retain a luster that not requires recognizing it as 'oldies' and allow the future to preserve the uniqueness of this work.

While Mastodon tromped around the world in support of The Hunter, they made a stop at the O2 Academy in London on February 11, 2012. That show was recorded and will be released as Mastodon Live at Brixton on December 10 via Warner Bros.
