The first album released worldwide by Virgin Records, "Phaedra", was recorded in less than three weeks. The title originates from the Greek myth of Phaedra, the daughter of Minos and Ariadne's sister. She committed suicide after her stepson refused her advances. The album is divided into four compositions: two credited to the group, one each to Edgar Froese and Peter Baumann.

With Little Secret, the young woman who had landed on the festival stage in Montreal in 2006, such a bomb from a height of twelve, performing the songs of Ella Fitzgerald, emancipated by offering an album at the intersection of jazz original, of sixties soul and some pop, sip California sun. Underpinned images retro charm, the disc is produced in a modern way (benefiting from the advice of Quincy Jones, his mentor, manager and co-executive producer) to the point that it is sometimes difficult to determine what time date songs. The singer manages to blend perfectly pop-song structures and big brass band, festive rhythms and harmonies of great delicacy, catchy melodies and solos scats.

Narita is a city in the north of Japan…that’s were the airport is located that carries the majority of the passengers to and from Tokyo. Narita is also the title of the second album by the New York-based hard rock band Riot. After their excellent debut “Rock City”, they retain (almost) the same personnel and entered the Big Apple Studios for the sophomore effort. 9 brand new songs were record plus cover version of the Steppenwolf classic “Born To Be Wild”.

Flaming Bess was formed in 1969, in Düsseldorf. There was the usual club gigs, and personnel changes, before finally recording an album. It just took them ten years. This was 1979's "Tanz Der Götter". A highly regarded album, and very much influenced by other symphonic music of it's time. The second release, 1980's "Verlorene Welt", had a more rock-oriented approach, and featured Marlene Krükel on vocals. This would be the last recording from the band for 15 years. In 1995, they resurfaced with "Fata Morgana". Apparently, this was not just an attempt at recapturing past glory. They had kept up with changes in the music scene, and produced a progressive album to fit the times…

One of the most popular female vocalists during her prime, Peggy Lee (1920-2002) was known for her very personal voice and the atmospheric quality of her recordings. Even if the range of her tone was somewhat limited, Peggy Lee always managed to convey emotion and depth in her singing, and that's why her cool, light swinging appealed to millions and turned her into a household name throughout the Fifties.
