Night Ark is a group that draws from so many fields of music it proves difficult to label. Many (but not all) of the instruments featured on this release originated in the Middle East; leader Ara Dinkjian's specialty is the oud, but he also occasionally plays guitar and piano, along with the less-familiar canoon and cumbus. The music includes exotic originals by the group, each of which merits repeated listening. The most accessible cuts will include a relatively straightforward but imaginative treatment of Carole King's pop hit "You've Got a Friend" and a captivating arrangement of the old standard "Over the Rainbow," which is highlighted by Dinkjian's sterling improvised solo introduction on oud. Long out of print, this CD is worth acquiring, though it is far too sophisticated to be labeled new age, which is the section where it is likely to be found.

Unbelievable. Mob Rules is already around since 20 years. Time is flying if you fun. It was in 1994 when the band was founded by vocalist Klaus Dirks and six-stringer Matthias Mineur. It took five years for the band to release their debut called "Savage land". In the meantime they added another six albums to their discography.

Ilussia is the title of new Mägo De Oz album. A concept album with a clown as the core, whose recording began on July 15, 2014 with Alberto Seara production of "Flower" Cube studies in Madrid. The story will focus in the words of Txus in "an abandoned and cursed circus that comes to life in the middle of a forest and find a character." The main character is a clown and the story has been written by Txus using Krea Films Mario Ruiz and the rest of the band.

Cyrus Chestnut first studied piano with his father at the age of five, with official lessons beginning two years later. By the age of nine, he was enrolled in the prep program at the Peabody Institute. He graduated from Berklee with a degree in jazz composition and arranging. Chestnut took his time, working with a number of top-notch musicians (Jon Hendricks, Betty Carter, Terence Blanchard, and Donald Harrison) before finally recording his first solo CD at the age of 30. Chestnut enjoys mixing styles and resists being typecast in any one niche, though his gospel sound is apparent on a number of his recordings.

His most creative period was whilst he recorded Tea For The Tillerman and Teaser And The Firecat. With the hit single Wild World entering the US charts in 1971, Cat Stevens flew to America where this intimate concert was recorded. This rare classic performance captures the warmth of his studio recordings, with passion and depth.
