The Complete Motown Singles has been a dream project of Motown and soul fanatics for many years, ever since the first decade of Stax/Volt singles was compiled in an impressive nine-disc box set in 1991. The Complete Motown Singles might have seemed like a logical move to soul collectors and fanatics, but it remained in the realm of fantasy for many years because, as enticing as that set was, it was difficult to create.

This is the second volume in this series of 60s girl group rarities. The original vinyl of this had only 12 tracks and was issued in 1963. This is the 30 track CD edition. This cd is out of print and somewhat scarce. This rip is from my new CD that I just opened to make this rip.

Remembrance Days is the second album by the British band The Dream Academy. Not as successful as the band's 1985 self-titled debut, the album peaked at #181 in the USA.

In the realms of 80’s thrash metal, Rigor Mortis are one of those bands that people in the know constantly rave about. Though the band has only released one full length, their mark on extreme metal has been felt quite a bit over the last two decades. However, for all of the excitement surrounding the release of Slaves To The Grave, their first new album in 27 years, there is also the sadness that it is also their last. Sadly, guitarist Mike Scaccia passed away due to a heart attack in the middle of a gig around Christmas in 2012. Fortunately for the band and their fans though, the guitar tracks for Slaves were already recorded and after a few finishing touches, the band is now able to cement his legacy and theirs for good.

When Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel first teamed up in the ‘50s under the somewhat nondescript name of Tom and Jerry, few could have predicted what was to come. When the pair finally split in 1970 after a much publicised falling out, most fans would have given up on any notion of a reunion.
