Every Picture Tells a Story is the third album by Rod Stewart, released in the middle of 1971. It became Stewart's most critically acclaimed album, and became the standard by which all of his subsequent albums were judged.

This disc presents music by French composers of the 17th and 18th century. Some of it is played instruments other than those for which it was written. Sometimes this means that the compositions have to be arranged in order to fit the instruments on which they are played.

The 8th and easily the best album from all star melodic rockers featuring Mikael Erlandsson and Andy Malacek (Fair Warning) who are the core members. Reminiscent of classic Scandinavian melodic rock with a nod to Talisman as well a tinge of early Bon Jovi. Already a contender for rock album of 2011!

This is the death album. Plain and simple. There isn't exactly a whole concept but many of the themes deal with mortality and how we deal with it. The gears are beginning to grind again and here we are sitting at the beginning again as this is their seventh album, you know what to expect, passion, intensity, commitment and sheer bloody mindedness. Don't expect fantasy or escapism. No remorse, no regret.

The album consists of folk and traditional music and songs from Naples, which is not the modern sort of Neapolitan song made popular by Caruso but medieval and Renaissance-era selections, sung by the remarkably expressive tenor Marco Beasley and accompanied by a battery of lutes, strings, and percussion. Many of the texts are about love, but several pieces relate to the tarantella dance, a few are sacred, and there's a truly gorgeous lullaby (L'Angiulillo, track 9).
