    Irish Tour '74 is a blues oriented rock double-album by Rory Gallagher. The album was compiled from live recordings made at concerts on an Irish Tour in January 1974. Irish Tour has sold in excess of two million copies world-wide. An article in a Belfast daily newspaper stated: "Rory Gallagher never forgot Northern Ireland, he returned throughout the '70's when few other artists of his caliber dared not come near the place.

    A major figure in 20th century music, Morton Feldman was a pioneer of indeterminate music, a development associated with the experimental New York School of composers also including John Cage, Christian Wolff, and Earle Brown. Feldman's works are characterized by notational innovations which he developed to create his characteristic sound: rhythms which seem to be free and floating; pitch shadings which seem softly unfocused; a generally quiet and slowly evolving music; recurring asymmetric patterns. His later works, after 1977, also begin to explore extremes of duration.

    Neues vom Tage (News of the Day) is an opera (lustige Oper) in three parts by Paul Hindemith, with a German libretto by Marcellus Schiffer.
    The opera is a satire of modern life, celebrity and marriage, involving parodies of both Puccini's music and Berlin cabaret. The opera became notorious for a scene with a naked soprano (Laura) singing in the bath about the wonders of modern plumbing, though Hindemith replaced her with the tenor (Hermann) in the revised version.

    In no way is new-era Burzum ever going to hold the kind of genre influence that Varg’s work of the 90s did. It is simply a different time and black metal has changed and expanded too much in the 19 years since the debut dropped for this to be a possibility. However, what Belus started and Fallen continues is a mighty new era for the Burzum brand, one that should be embraced by fans old and new alike. If Fallen has to be about something other than the music it contains, maybe it can be the album that makes people finally get the fuck over the whole “Varg killed a dude” thing. He was a murderer in 1993. In 2011 he’s merely a musician making fantastic black metal. May he continue to do just that.
