This is a collection of Gershwin songs, sung by artists who recorded for Capitol Records during the years 1943-1966, the bulk of which are from the 50's. There's enough variety in their vocals and arrangements to make this a varied, consistently entertaining listen.

Having spent much of the past two years orchestrating stadium-sized crowds to lose their marbles whilst touring the world as the lead support for The Prodigy and Pendulum, South Central are now back on home soil and readying themselves for the release of their much-anticipated LP Society Of The Spectacle . Having given the world it s first taster in October 2010 with their single Demons , the duo now present The Day I Die , the lead single from the forthcoming album and another indication that this is an act destined for big things.

Honestly, vicious and politically incorrect, Lemmy is a rage on stage. Hoarse voice, sunglasses hangovers, got the microphone a foot of its height and yelled as the king of rock hard it is. Iron fest opened, their self-titled album in 1982, and closed with Overkill. Before rang, wanting his legendary Ace of Spades..

What I really wanted was a motor scooter, if I remember correctly. But on that memorable day when I turned 13, it turned out to be something very different: a 45-rpm record, with a touching family portrait of Wolfgang, Nannerl, and Papa Leopold on the cover of the pretty little square case.

Mouse on the Keys is a trio instrument band. Based in Tokyo, the group consists of its former members, "Nine Days Wonder" (a leading band on the Japanese post-rock scene) Akira Kawasaki (drum, keyboards) and Atsushi Kiyota (piano, keyboards), along with Daisuke Niitome (piano, keyboards), who has played drums and composed music for funk/hiphop bands. The unique sound of the band's drums, two pianos, and two keyboards combines the sense of urgency from rock and hard core with tastes of early/contemporary classical, jazz and various dance music.

Watt had many of the same ingredients as its predecessor, Cricklewood Green, but wasn't nearly as well thought out. The band had obviously spent much time on the road, leaving little time for developing new material. Consequently, a cover of Chuck Berry's "Sweet Little Sixteen," recorded live at the Isle of Wight Festival, is included here, as is a short instrumental with the uninspired title "The Band With No Name." Other song titles like "I Say Yeah" and "My Baby Left Me" betray the lack of spark in Alvin Lee's songwriting.
