Mare opens a new chapter in the Norwegians' band history, while delivering a true monument to Black Metal. The band have achieved the difficult task of giving their sound new impulses without losing their unique style. Isolated keyboard passages consort with icy riffs, dark melodies, and oppressive drums. The album was produced by Peter Tägtgren, who provided the songs with a piercing and very powerful sound. Mare is the pagan Black Metal masters best work to date.

Straight from Nitro's O.F.R. album, Long Way From Home is a great power ballad with screamin' vocals, catchy lyrics, and insane shredding. This single includes the regular LP version as well as the single edit which was used for the Long Way From Home music video.

Belgian metallers FIREFORCE will release their new album, "March On", on March 25 March via 7Hard. The CD artwork was designed by Eric Philippe, who has previously worked with RHAPSODY, RIOT, MOB RULES, TNT and many others. "March On" contains "12 tracks of true old-school power metal with a monster wall of sound," according to a press release.

Produced By the band themselves and featuring many well-known names from the Finnish folk metal scene, this latest offering is essentially one epic number divided into nine shorter sections: an unashamedly OTT journey to the cold & merciless north, drawing on a wide variety of musical genres – from brutal black metal right through to folk music, orchestrated, classical interludes, angelic vocal melodies & spoken passages, the whole thing steeped in the sort of atmosphere & grandeur more typically found on big-budget movie soundtracks. According to Crimfall themselves, "Our second album is more epic, more grandiose, more extreme & more dramatic than our debut…"

The young Latvian mezzo Elina Garanca makes her recital debut on the label with a delightful programme of Mozart arias, interweaving five of Mozart’s brilliant and demanding concert arias, including the supremely taxing ‘Ch’io mi scordi di te’ with extracts from La finta giardiniera, La clemenza di Tito and Così fan tutte. Well-known for her engaging stage performances as Dorabella Elina has chosen also to include Fiordiligi’s dazzling ‘Come scoglio’.
