Born in 1860, Isaac Albéniz is best known for piano music that brilliantly evokes the spirit of Spain. As a composer-virtuoso, Albéniz successfully melded together composition and performance to create a bravura style reminiscent of the music of Liszt, seasoned with Spanish folk idioms. The work that most convincingly represents this synthesis of virtuosity and tradition is the enchantingly colorful and atmospheric Iberia, a suite of 12 pieces recalling Spanish (particularly Andalusian) places and dances. Albéniz used folklore as his inspiration, but created a singular melodic style, which eventually influenced Debussy and Ravel. Believing that artistic originality and an interest in one's national musical tradition do not exclude each other, Albéniz likewise was largely the creator of the Spanish musical idiom that would be adopted and developed by Granados and de Falla - All Music Guide

Siembra is an album by Rubén Blades and Willie Colón released by Fania Records in 1978. At that time, it became the best-selling salsa record in history. This record was broken with the release of Cuenta Conmigo by Jerry Rivera in the 1990s. It has sold over 25 million copies worldwide, and almost all of its songs were hits at one time or another in various Latin American countries. With its rousing social commentary and unconventional sound, "Siembra" set the salsa world on fire and remains one of the most original and influential works.

The project was born in 2007 as a four pieces death/progressive band. After an year, in 2008 they went in studio to record their first EP called "Atman EP" After the release, in 2009 the quartet started the live activity to support the EP, playing gigs with band like The Ocean, Ahab, In Mourning, Black Sun Aeon and more. In 2010 the band placed 4th to the most important unsigned band contest "Wacken Metal Battle" , and after that they started to create a more complex and different kind of music, becoming a six-pieces Post/Progressive beast. In late 2011, the band entered the studio to record the debut album, a concept called "Samaroid Dioramas", engineered at Studio 73 by Riccardo Pasini.

Because of her beauty and wisdom, though, every men of the kingdom longed to have her. …" That's the way this band started their own story, however this Synphonic Metal band from Italy was formed in early 2010, by Lady Victoria (lead singer), Rain (guitars), Alexandre (bass) and Shadow (drums). After a hard work with some live presentations, in August 2010, the can finish recording their first Cd and has signed with Ravenheart Music Record for the release of their first album "Immortal Beauty".

Compilation album released in Spain in a series of recordings of the vocal and instrumental ensemble 'Rondalla Venezolana', made with celebrity voices of Venezuela and foreign singers. The aforementioned format here includes names of singers like Celia Cruz, Vicentico Valdes and Daniel Santos, along with others like Chucho Avellanet, Tito Rodriguez and Barbarito Diez.

All of these 19 songs, not released until 2003, come from a 1967 recording session. That might make it the last studio work Skip James did before his death in 1969, although the liner notes, frustratingly, offer virtually no specific details about the session and why it wasn't released for 35 years….
