Excellent second album, undoubtely their best one, by this misguided Pittsburgh band. After a weak glam/pop/mainstream first album, fantastic guitar man Warren King came aboard and changed drastically Diamond Reo's style to a "take-no-prisoners" Hard Rock with an incredibly acid guitar sound. Then unleashed one of the better mid-70's HR albums, unbeliably ignored for many collectors of the style. After one more album, the band broke up, with guitarist Norman Nardini carving out a long career as a blues rocker.

On its release in 1975 Wish You Were here topped the album charts in both the UK and the US. Reflecting the bands thoughts of the time on the music business, and exploring themes of absence, Wish You Were Here contains the classic cut Shine On You Crazy Diamond, a tribute to founder member Syd Barrett.

Bolero has in the Spanish singer Ramon Batista Calabuch (Barcelona, 1940), alias 'Moncho', one of his more mature and talented voices of the Latin world. He dedicated his style to the romantic song and the bolero, following in the footsteps of his idol, Lucho Gatica. Today he is known as 'El Gitano del Bolero'. He has recorded, after more than 40 years in the music world, 34 discs of boleros. This album is a compilation of his 30 favorites, published in Spain in double CD.

Some critics claim that Karajan's 1965 recording of Sibelius' Symphony No. 5 with the Berlin Philharmonic is the greatest performance of that symphony ever recorded. Some claim that his 1967 recording of the Sixth is the greatest performance of that symphony ever recorded. And a few critics even assert that his 1965 Fourth is, if not the greatest ever recorded, at least the most beautiful ever recorded. Beautiful? Yes, certainly; all of Karajan's mid-'60s recordings of Sibelius, like all of his mid-'60s recordings of everything, were opulently, sumptuously, voluptuously beautiful.

Dreamchaser is the eleventh studio album by English singer and songwriter Sarah Brightman. This album is Brightman's first collaboration with producer Mike Hedges and centres around the concept of space. It was released in Japan on 16 January 2013 and in the United Kingdom on 8 April 2013 to critical acclaim. Dreamchaser reached No. 1 on the Classical Crossover Albums chart, making it the seventh album of Sarah Brightman to reach this chart. It also reached third on the Top Independent Albums chart, marking the first time Brightman has appeared on this chart. Dreamchaser also debuted at number 28 on the World Album Charts, the highest position she has achieved.

The libretto of Solomon, author unknown, is strange. Much of Act 1 is devoted to an epithalamium celebrating the wedding of Solomon and an Egyptian princess whom we do not meet again. (The Victorians used to bowdlerize some of the words.) Act 2, much the most dramatic, tells how Solomon solved the famous maternity suit (but how could the false mother agree to the baby's bisection?). Act 3 tells how Solomon stagemanaged and contributed to a short choral masque presented for the entertainment of the Queen of Sheba in return for presents of gold. According to Winton Dean the masque cries Out to be mimed, but even so there is less drama in Solomon than in some of the other oratorios and no overall plot. In 1749, the same soprano, the Italian Frasi, sang both queens, but the parts are better split axon these discs. The soloists are excellent.
