Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) is the first official compilation album by The Rolling Stones, released on 28 March 1966, on London Records in the US and on 4 November 1966, by Decca Records in the UK. The two releases featured different cover art and track listing. The front cover for the American release was used for the rear photo on the UK edition.

Specially priced limited edition anthology with selected tracks from ECM releases of 2000. As with "Selected Signs I" (1997), the album, assembled by producer Manfred Eicher, creates its own atmosphere and reveals a suite-like logic and continuity.

…The star of the album is guitarist and organist Ken Bowers, whose affinity for pleasantly distorted, droning guitar lines gives some of the songs a certain resemblance to mid-period Yo la Tengo. Vanilla Trainwreck never achieved much in terms of either sales or critical attention, but Sofa Livin Dreamazine is a solidly impressive album well-worth searching out.

Peter Gabriel returned on stage again with a full band, celebrating the 25th anniversary of So. Gabriel reunited with his old bandmates for a selection of shows in September and October 2012 in North America. Peter & the band will perform So as a whole as well as selected old songs.

Out of all the bands that emerged in the immediate aftermath of punk rock in the late '70s, few were as enduring and popular as The Cure. Led through numerous incarnations by guitarist/vocalist Robert Smith (born April 21, 1959), the band became notorious for its slow, gloomy dirges and Smith's ghoulish appearance, a public image that often hid the diversity of the Cure's music. At the outset, the Cure played jagged, edgy pop songs before slowly evolving into a more textured outfit.

The four Ballades for piano, composed between 1835 and 1842, have a particular status in Chopin's production. As opposed to the "small forms" inspired by dances, they give birth to vast developments of a new, almost revolutionary genre bearing an epic breadth characteristic of the emergence of the Romantic Age. Like his friend Delacroix, who knew how to express the spirit of his times to be heroic in his paintings, Chopin here develops the aesthetic line of the musical story, rich with multiple sparkling colors. The piano Arthur Schoonderwoerd plays is an exact contemporary of the pieces executed and was miraculously conserved in its original state.
