Kwon Boa (born November 5, 1986), commonly stylized and known by her stage name BoA, which is a backronym for Beat of Angel, is a Korean singer, active in South Korea, Japan, and the United States. She is referred as the Queen of Korean Pop.

This is one of the greatest recordings in jazz history, 'Time out', held in 1959 in New York by the quartet led by the great American pianist Dave Brubeck (California, 1920-2012). This album reached over a million and a half copies sold and accounted for the final consecration of Brubeck Quartet with a definitive work that laid the foundation for what would become jazz fusion, based on the use of beats and complex rhythms, subtly blended jazz styles that were common then, as 'cool' and 'West coast', creating both classical compositional structures with bright accompaniments. It is referenced in the top 100 jazz albums and appears on the website of the '1001 albums you must hear before you die'.

Since its international appearance have left to pursue a career of success and recognition, both own and in collaboration with world-class orchestras.

Norwegian black metallers SATYRICON will release their new, self-titled studio album on September 8 in Europe via Roadrunner Records. The CD was produced by SATYRICON frontman Sigurd "Satyr" Wongraven and was recorded in Norway, and mixed by Adam Kasper. The effort will feature a guest appearance by Sivert Høyem, the Norwegian singer best known as the vocalist of the rock band MADRUGADA.

This collection of works for unaccompanied voices is bookended by works by singer Cathy Berberian and composer Luciano Berio, who were once married to each other. John Cage's Story is a movement of his percussion quartet Living Room Music, while Young Turtle Asymmetries is by Cage's pupil Jackson Mac Low and Roger Marsh's Not a Soul But Ourselves is set to a text by James Joyce. Usually done solo, Berberian's Stripsody, with its score consisting solely of cartoons, is sung here by a trio and must be heard to be believed.
