Swedish rockers Dexter Jones'Circus Orchestra, soon celebrating 10 years together, have been working hard the last couple of years. With numerous tours in Europe several trips to USA the band have gained a reputation, beyond the underground circuit of heavy rock, as a high-class retro-rock outfit with great potential. The previous release, "Side by Side" (Fuzzorama Records 2007) showcased the elegance of Tia Marklunds songwriting, keeping the songs and the production simple and honest. Comparisons have been made to everything from "ZZ Top" to "Blue Oyster Cult" to "Kings of Leon".

Goodnight Vienna was very much a follow-up to Ringo, on which Ringo Starr called upon his bevy of musical buddies. Most prominent among them was John Lennon, who again wrote the leadoff track, "(It's All Da-Da-Down To) Goodnight Vienna," and played on three songs; also included are Elton John, who wrote and played on "Snookeroo," Dr. John, Billy Preston, Robbie Robertson, and Harry Nilsson.

A Skeletal Domain is the upcoming thirteenth studio album by American death metal band Cannibal Corpse. The album was produced Audiohammer Studios by Mark Lewis.Bassist Alex Webster said "I think it's turning out to be kind of a dark-sounding album. Which, you know, it's a death metal album, so, of course, it should be kind of dark and eerie sounding anyway, but I think this one a little more than normal. That was kind of the direction the songwriting went in."

The full 17-song concert R.E.M. recorded for the “Austin City Limits” TV show in 2008 — including three songs that never have been broadcast — will be released on DVD late next month, the band announced today. Due out Oct. 26 on New West Records, “R.E.M. Live From Austin, TX” will feature the band’s March 13, 2008, concert remixed and remastered in LPCM stereo and DTS-HD 5.1 surround sound “to provide the highest-quality concert DVD available.”

The long awaited reissue of their 2005 debut album Sol29 available on Kscope. The album has been out of print for almost two years, during which time it has become a collectible (and much requested!) piece. The album was expanded to a 2disc set (CD + DVD) and will be packaged in a super jewel case with slipcase and feature new and revised artwork as well as the original photographic booklet.
