Red Line Chemistry is simply on the verge of widespread awareness. Few bands can boast to having performed in front of tens of thousands in a single gig while remaining unsigned, much less enjoying the experience multiple times. In the short life-span of the quintet, their notoriety has crossed the borders of Missouri and Kansas, entering Indiana, Minnesota, Oklahoma and neighboring states. The smoke is starting to spread, and the fire will soon follow.Outside of back-to-back years as a featured attraction on KQRC 98.9 The Rock’s annual event for 50,000 rock fans, Red Line Chemistry has shared the stage with Stone Temple Pilots, Seether, Puddle of Mudd, Saving Abel, Chevelle, Shinedown, Sevendust, Saliva and others.

The 1972 show also features a full, fantastic set of Michael's solo hits, including "Got To Be There" and "Ben," his brand new single at the time, as well as a solo spot by Jermaine.
Suspiria was Dario Argento's opus. This was a ground breaking movie. It was a visual and audio attack on the senses. He used sight and sound like no other film maker has before ( or since). What made the film remarkable was the synth pounding music from Goblin. A drum and synth driven soundtrack that was mixed VERY LOUD. The title track as eerie spoken word verses spoken by Claudio Simonetti (the band's leader and keyboard/synth player) because of his command of the english language. As a stand alone disc it's just as creepy. Dario Argento arranged and conducted some of the music (to keep it flowing to the movie) as well. Argento and Goblin made one hell of a team. From time to time, Goblin would reunite with Simonetti and compose music for Dario Argento as a favor to the man who made them world famous. ~ Joseph P. Ulibas
In evaluating a Bach cantata recording, there are so many variables to consider--programming choices; quality and type of soloists; tempos and balances among soloists, orchestra, and chorus; quality of choir and orchestra; use of alternate arias (or voices for a particular aria); version of the score (where more than one exists); instrumentation (period or modern instruments; configuration of continuo); and of course, the quality of the recorded sound--that comparisons between different recordings often become more descriptions than critiques. No matter how "good" a performance is, if you don't like period instruments you won't like Herreweghe or Koopman; likewise, if a certain countertenor soloist bugs you, you'll be unlikely to enjoy a cantata in which that singer is prominently featured, no matter how wonderful the work's other movements sound. On the other hand, if you like Koopman - or Herreweghe, both of whom are the most interpretively consistent among period-instrument practitioners (Rilling fits that bill in the modern-instrument category; "periodists" Gardiner and Harnoncourt are notoriously unpredictable) - then you'll likely be pretty satisfied with most of their efforts in this repertoire...David Vernier, ClassicsToday.com
Auer is remembered as one of the most important pedagogues of the violin, and was one of the most sought-after teachers for gifted pupils. Many famous virtuoso violinists were among his pupils, including Mischa Elman, Jascha Heifetz, Nathan Milstein, Efrem Zimbalist, Georges Boulanger, Benno Rabinof, Kathleen Parlow, Oscar Shumsky, and Sasha Lasserson. Auer also taught the young Clara Rockmore, who later became one of the world's foremost exponents of the theremin.
