"Electric Angels" is the first studio album by American Hard Rock band Electric Angels, released in 1990.
Sweeney Todd is one of Canadas best bands, period. They are also one of the most forgotten, which is a crying shame. This album showcases the extreme talents of the group, capable of challenging such glam giants as T.Rex. Bryans voice is still high and smooth, instead of his annoying low gravelly tone. The guitars provide some killer riffs, which had the potential to be dinosaur hits. Keyboards do not play a major role in the music, but you can occasionally hear them sprinkled in the background. The bass & drums are some of the best I've heard, and all together it's just an amazing package. The title track may be a little cheesy, but is still enjoyable.
On June 11, 2010, The Methadones announced that they would be breaking up. "It's been 10 years and we've had a lot of fun, but we all agree that it's just time", said Danny Vapid. The band will play their final show on November 13th at Reggie's in Chicago for one last hurrah and to celebrate the release of their final album simply called "METHADONES". This album will consist of 5 brand new studio tracks along with out of print songs from their split with the Copyrights and 4 songs from two out of print 7"s from last year.

Last year, Magma were able to celebrate their 35th anniversary. In 2007 Allan Holdsworth & Alan Pasqua toured extensively with Chad Wackerman and Jimmy Haslip. This DVD captures their concert at Yoshi’s in the Bay area. This a tour-d-force line up. Holdsworth on guitar and Pasqua on keyboards are the main creative writing force, while Wackerman adds his unique touch on the drums, and Haslip is on the bass guitar. Up beat Jazz is the way I would describe it. This DVD has a running time of 90 minutes and is just delightful. It is not often that you get four of the worlds finest musicians to corroborate on a project.
