Extreme death metal act Exhumed are releasing their newest album, Necrocracy, on August 6th.Necrocracy was recorded at Arcane Digital Recording in Chandler, Arizona with Ryan Butler (Misery Index, Landmine Marathon, Phobia), and the drums were tracked at Trench Studios in Corona, California with John Haddad (Hirax, Abysmal Dawn, Intronaut).

The Geneva Tapes were the lost audio recordings of a band formed by a pre-Yes Patrick Moraz and cellist Jean Ristori called Integral Aim. It's singer and co-songwriter, David Kubinec, later renamed the band Mainhorse Airline. Now recovered and remastered on this CD, the tapes provide a glimpse into the very early years of experimental, progressive rock.

T-ara (often stylized as T-ARA) is a South Korean girl group that debuted in 2009 under Core Contents Media. Before their debut, there was a high level of interest in the group as they were called the "Super Rookies" and had been training for three years prior.

Thomas David Gibson is an American rock musician originally from Springfield, Missouri. Widely praised for his raspy voice and somber lyrics, Thomas defines the angst ridden rock of the Midwest. The highly anticipated "Nine Pound Hammer" marks his debut solo effort and showcases his strength as a vocalist and songwriter.

The very definition of the contractual obligation album, All's Well That Ends Well is a live record recorded at London's Roundhouse less than a week before Man's split in 1976 and released in place of the album that was supposed to come from the fractious and ultimately unproductive studio sessions that had led to the band's dissolution. Nearly half the songs come from the recent Welsh Connection album, the others being mainstays of the live act like a rubbery, almost disco-tinged version of the standard "Spunk Rock"…

This album came between Wigwam's masterpieces "Being" and "Nuclear Nightclub", during a period when the band peaked creatively. Interestingly this features a unique combination of the line-ups from those two albums: Jim Pembroke (vocals/piano), Ronnie Österberg (drums), Jukka Gustavson (organ), Pekka Pohjola (bass), and newcomer Pekka Rechardt on guitar. The difference compared to the Wigwam albums is that Pembroke wrote all the material, and probably also directed a bit more than usual what the band was to do. The result is amazing.

Solo recitals of arias from Handel operas and oratorios are common, so it's a pleasure to hear an album devoted to his duets, particularly when they're performed as well as they are here by soprano Rosemary Joshua and mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly. Both have had diverse careers, but are known especially for their Baroque roles. Their voices are especially well-matched in weight, and their blend is beautifully warm, but they are each distinctive enough that they retain a strong vocal identity even when singing in close harmony.
