Recording by accredited German conductor, clarinetist, saxophonist, arranger and singer Ambros Seelos. His orchestra began in the 60s, usually playing music with 'Big Band' sound. He has performed in many European countries, Arab countries and Asia, both large concert stages and in intimate clubs. Seelos offers his music usually friendly and themed dance styles. He has published more than thirty albums and remains a perfect stylist to the dance floor.

Big Mountain is an American reggae/pop band, most famous for its cover version of Peter Frampton's "Baby, I Love Your Way," which became a Top 10 hit single in the U.S. in early 1994 reaching number 6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, number-one on Mainstream Top 40, and number 2 in the UK shortly afterwards.

Diana Ross' glossy 1981-1987 tenure on RCA is the subject of this 18-track collection, which includes her hit tribute to the late Marvin Gaye, "Missing You." Other highlights include her cover of Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers' "Why Do Fools Fall in Love," "Mirror, Mirror," "Swept Away" and a solo version of the chart-topping "Endless Love."

Hi De Ho is one more of the quick, cheap movies cranked out by Hollywood featuring black entertainers and designed to fill seats in the movie houses for the segregated black audiences of the south and the unofficially but just as segregated theaters everywhere else. Hi De Ho is exceptional in one regard. It features that great showman and entertainer Cab Calloway in his prime and a year before he decided to disband his orchestra because of changing musical tastes. Calloway had a long career, and had become a star by 1930. He sang, moved (not exactly danced), strutted and jived.

The sound stage is wide with just the right amount of the ambience of the Victoria Hall, Geneva present to add an extra bloom to the overall sound. Arabella Steinbacher’s previous recordings of 20th century violin concertos have garnered worldwide praise and this latest one should further enhance the reputation of this young and exceptionally gifted musician. Very highly recommended.
