Serrat published in 1969 as LP (later reissued on CD) this album dedicated to the famous Spanish poet Antonio Machado, from which takes 11 songs to poetry -in some cases Serrat slightly modified the lyrics with personal contributions of their own stamp- and adds one fully own creation ('En Col.liure'). In all tracks music is created by Serrat except in 'Retrato' and 'Las moscas' –original of Alberto Cortez-, arranged and conducted by the composer and pianist Ricardo Miralles, usual in the work of Serrat.

The record companies do not stop publishing works and monographic compilations on always considered music for romance. This album contains a selection of 16 great classics of the ballad in years 60-80 mainly interpreted by English-speaking (American or British), especially prominent in pop music. These are best known voices like Petula Clark or Engelbert Humperdinck (Anglo-Indian) and Percy Sledge and The Platters.

"The Book of Taliesyn" is the second album by Deep Purple, released by EMI's Harvest Records in the UK (1968), Tetragrammaton in the US (1968), and Polydor in Canada and Japan (1969).
The album name was taken from a famous 14th century Welsh manuscript, containing certain poems attributed to the 6th century poet Taliesin. The title "The Book of Taliesyn" appears in the lyrics for the song "Listen, Learn, Read On."

…the highlight of this excellent disc is Davis' outstanding account of The Oceanides, more rapturously evocative and atmospheric than Järvi's and better recorded than Rattle's EMI version. A wonderful disc.

That being said, Arena is a likeable album, and far more serious than the poppy Asia. There's some amazing guitar melodies that pop up here and there, and some of the most popular and influential keyboard tempos pop up from Geoffrey Downes in several tracks.
