The story of Ian Curtis and Joy Division has been told twice on film so far, once as a facet of Michael Winterbottom's 24-Hour Party People and then again as the full subject of Anton Corbijn's Control. In conjunction with the latter film, the surviving members of the band now collectively known as New Order took the opportunity to tell the story themselves for the first time ever, working with pioneering music documentary director Grant Gee (best known for the influential Radiohead film Meeting People is Easy).

Produced by the hit production team of Steve Barri and Michael Omartian (Rhythm Heritage's number one pop hit "Theme From S.W.A.T,"), Dionne Warwick's 1977 Warner Bros. LP Love at First Sight came closest in pop ethic to her earlier sides on Sceptor. Serving as a reminder of those days is the wispy ballad "Do I Have to Cry" and the perky "Early Morning Strangers," which were co-written by Hal David who co-wrote Warwick's '60s/early-'70s hit classics with Burt Bacharach.

Dreams emerge out of our experiences and deepest wishes. Some of them can be implemented, for they are simple - inspired by the daily need. Another ones are impossible in reality, made of fragile materia, often reside to dreamers. They are very affected to outer influences, that can hurt or distort. This is the fourth recording by Patricia Kopatchinskaja on naïve; the second in the concerto repertoire. The collaboration with conductor/composer Peter Eötvos and the programme is an intense series of connections. Between Bartok, Ligeti, Eotvos and Kopatchinskaja, there are many links: Hungary, the land of the 3 composers featured; Peter Eötvos was the conductor of the first performance of the second version of Ligeti violin concerto, in 1992, with Ensemble Modern; Patricia Kopatchinakaja and Peter Eötvös have been working together for 4 years, performing several concertos, including those recorded here.

This recording features a wide variety of works by the Czech composer Leoš Janá„ek, ranging from the mayhem of the “íkadla nursery rhymes and the description of the shameful antics of Mr Kašpar Rucký to the serene beauty of the Lord’s Prayer setting. Several of the pieces are only rarely performed—even today when the composer’s reputation is growing fast—and are little known outside the Slavic choral tradition which so influenced their style.

AOA (an acronym for Ace of Angels) is a South Korean idol girl group and band, produced by FNC Entertainment. These groups are constructed of a band with 5 members (Choa, Jimin, Yuna, Youkyoung and Mina), and an idol group consisting of 7 members (all members excluding Youkyoung). The groups debuted on July 30, 2012 with their single album Angel's Story.

Lionel Hampton is one of the most extraordinary musicians of the 20th century and his artistic achievements symbolize the impact that jazz music has had on our culture in the 21st century.
As a composer and arranger, Hampton wrote more than 200 works, including the jazz standards "Flying Home", "Evil Gal Blues", and "Midnight Sun". He also composed the major symphonic work, "King David Suite".
His lifetime of "swinging" is well documented through hundreds of recordings, many of which rank among the best in jazz, and all of which will be housed and studied inside the Lionel Hampton Center in Moscow, Idaho, slated to open in 2006.

Nacom was born in the fall of 2004 and, after several line-up changes, the band reached its final line-up of six personalities joined by the passion for melodic death metal inspired by bands like Opeth, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir and others.The band aims to study and bring out obscure and still not explored aspects of the human behaviour, through states of deep distress and madness. Here is the recall to the Mayan civilization, which contains some mysterious and ambiguous aspects, hence the name.The music is a fusion of influences of genres that come together to form a matrix with mostly melodic death issues, sometimes touching depressive black metal subjects. The proposed impact sound immediately identifies the guys of the band, which blend with synergy to create granitic and melodic sounds.
