This is the second of two albums released in Spain by songwriter, composer, poet, writer and journalist Alfredo Zitarrosa Uruguay (Montevideo, 1936-1989), one of the most popular singers renowned throughout Latin America. He recorded those two albums during part of the years that was exiled from his country (between 1976 and 1984) because of the dictatorial regimes that ruled beyond, that banned his songs. This album became major successes subjects as 'Black Guitar' and 'Stefanie'.

The great French accordionist Yvette Horner (Tarbes, 1922) offered during his long career of 70 years over 2000 concerts with his accordion, made some 150 recordings, covering a wide range of musical styles, and accumulated a turnover of about 30 million copies of their albums. This CD is a compilation album with 16 tracks recorded between 1957 and 1962 in which he plays famous themes in various dance styles (waltz, march, polka, tango, paso doble and samba) with his accordion musette.

New Model Army celebrate 30 years of releasing music this year with what the critics are calling their best ever album Between Dog and Wolf . Mixed by Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, Tool, Bad Religion) in L.A. The album sounds distinctly different to any previous NMA album, with comparisons to Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Peter Gabriel and Pink Floyd. A New Model Army documentary feature film Between Dog and Wolf: The New Model Army story has been filmed and will be released in early 2014 in UK independent cinemas, and has been entered for the Sundance Film festival. Formed as a jazz ensemble in the mid-'60s, Kool & the Gang became one of the most inspired and influential funk units during the '70s, and one of the most popular R&B groups of the '80s after their breakout hit "Celebration" in 1979. Just as funky as James Brown or Parliament (and sampled almost as frequently), Kool & the Gang relied on their jazz backgrounds and long friendship to form a tightly knit group with the interplay and improvisation of a jazz outfit, plus the energy and spark of a band with equal ties to soul, R&B, and funk.
