Gypsy Jazz or "Swing Manouche" as it's called in France, is a style of music attributed to guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli in the 1930's. It flourishes today with modern practitioners like Tony Airoldi adding exciting new innovations. Tony plays in the Reinhardt style performing many traditional numbers as well as his own Latin and Flamenco influenced compositions reinvented for the times.

The music scene in the 40s and 50s in Spain had as one of its popular figures singer Jorge Sepúlveda (1917-1983). The repertoire of their music focused on light music with particular preponderance of issues on boleros and pasodobles. This album, compiled in 1988, contains much of his best known songs.

Record of American conductor, pianist and composer Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990) leading the New York Philharmonic Orchestra in a work dedicated to the great French composer J. Maurice Ravel. Bernstein was one of the largest and most popular directors, one of the most powerful composers and a talented pianist of the last century. Gained fame over a long career of nearly five decades, marked with an endless list of awards, medals and other honors. He led the New York Philharmonic (one of the five major American symphony orchestras) between 1958 and 1969.

Smokin' O.P.'s is an album by American rock singer/songwriter Bob Seger, released in 1972. The album was reissued on CD by Capitol Records in 2005. It is currently the earliest Bob Seger album available on CD. The cover art is a parody of the Lucky Strike cigarette logo. Smokin' O.P.'s refers to Smokin' Other People's Songs, a derivation on the slang phrase "Smoking O.P.'s" meaning to smoke other people's cigarettes exclusively (never purchasing your own for consumption). Most of the tracks on this release are covers of songs written by other artists.
