Quality Relaxation is the first release on a new Chill Out label based in Oslo, Norway. It is a compilation compiled by PKS (Per Kristian Slagsvold), who has been a DJ in Norway for several years, playing both psychedelic trance and chilled electronica. He has also been a music reviewer for several years, mostly writing for Trance.net. On this compilation you will find some of the most experienced, talented musicians in the electronic music scene. Ten previously unreleased tracks, raging from deep ambient to dub and more up-tempo chill out music. With it comes an eight page booklet, where you can see pictures and read about every artist.
innish black metal band Behexen began their infernal career in 1994 and have defiantly released new infernal material every few years, regardless of line-up shifts and new label relationships. Nightside Emanations is their fifth full-length album, though they also have numerous released in the form of demos and EPs. Behexen is deeply intertwined with several other black metal bands as well: vocalist Torog and drummer Horns also perform in Sargeist, and guitarist Shautrag is a member of both Sargeist and Horna.

After his affair with jazz fusion (Waka/Jawaka and The Grand Wazoo, both released in 1972), Frank Zappa came back in late 1973 with an album of simple rock songs, Over-Nite Sensation. But the temptation for more challenging material was not long to resurface and, after a transitional LP (Apostrophe, early 1974), he unleashed a double LP (reissued on one CD) of his most complex music, creating a bridge between his comedy rock stylings and Canterbury-style progressive rock. Three-quarters of the album was recorded live at the Roxy in Hollywood and extensively overdubbed in the studio later.

There is no whit of warmth and comfort in the terrible cold land at the edge of the world, and no way out off there. Broken silhouettes of ice sculptures seem to express a desperate rush stopped by merciless frost till the end of time. The soil consisting of a mixture of ice and gray lifeless earth, is mangled with cracks, fathomless craters and heaving upward faults. Warped by tectonic movements, strata appear as if the fiery giants struggled with one another crushing subtle creations of the natural masters and left only ruins, which became the kingdom for the restless blizzard. Life is impossible in this territory of evil, and any attempt to survive is the hopeless struggle with uncaring elemental force. There is only droning hum is heard around: irrepressible incessant moan of the planet tortured with the glacial sore.
Aleksandr Lazarevich Lokshin was a Russian composer of classical music. He was born on September 19, 1920, in the town of Biysk, in the Altai Region, Western Siberia, and died in Moscow on June 11, 1987. An admirer of Mahler and Alban Berg, he created his own musical language; he wrote eleven symphonies plus symphonic works including "Les Fleurs du Mal" (1939, on Baudelaire's poems), "Three Scenes from Goethe's Faust" (1973, 1980), the cantata "Mater Dolorosa" (1977, on verses from Akhmatova's "Requiem"), etc. Only his Symphony No.4 is purely instrumental; all other symphonies include vocal parts.From Wikipedia
Leslie De'Ath has taken up the banner for the music of Cyril Scott, which many feel is long overdue for unfurling again, with a series on Dutton of his piano music. It is easy to hear in the pieces on this first volume why Scott was called "The English Debussy." The extremely colorful, translucent harmonies he uses make his music entrancing, sometimes mystical.
