Arthur-Vincent Lourié, born Naum Izrailevich Luria (Russian: Наум Израилевич Лурья), later changed his name to Artur Sergeyevich Luriye (Russian: Артур Сергеевич Лурье, 14 May 1892 in Propoysk - 12 October 1966 in Princeton, New Jersey) was a significant Russian composer. Lourié played an important role in the earliest stages of the organization of Soviet music after the 1917 Revolution but later went into exile. His music reflects his close connections with contemporary writers and artists, and also his close relationship with Igor Stravinsky.

German metaller Herman Frank, better known as the guitarist in the legendary band Accept strikes back to put out a follow up release to his 2009 CD "Loyal To None." Frank has once again put together a bold and powerful release with all the elements that he has been known to possess. With the trademark sound that has been the backbone of Accept he pushes the envelope with this one.Armed with 13 new tracks that equally stand out from one another you have the chance to feel the vibe that he has tried to put out. Starting the "Right In The Guts" release the track Roaring Thunder sets the stage for the entire record. Signature guitar riffs and destroying solos, not to mention the top notch vocals make this a great track to feel the blood of the record. WINTERFYLLETH combine vicious yet moody, folk-inspired black metal that harkens back to the early days of Enslaved and old-school Ulver. The band’s lyrics delve into tales of England’s archaic history, recounting major events, battles. They draw inspiration from sites and scenery gracing the countryside that has played an integral part in the country’s history. Formed in 2007, WINTERFYLLETH features Vocalist/guitarist C. Naughton with drummer S. Lucas, guitarist M. Wood, and bassist N. Wallwork.

Champion Jack Dupree performs at Sound track Studios and Radhustroen in Copenhagen, Denmark and at his home in Hanover, Germany. Recorded in 1986 with the Kenn Lending Blues Band, featuring Kenn Lending, Svenni Svafnisson, Kjeld Lauritsen, Frank Larsen and Jorgen Lang also featuring Louisiana Red. This colourful tape was recorded in early 1986 at various locations in Europe. Dupree has lived there for many years where he has enjoyed great freedom and success. Originally from New Orleans, Dupree moved to Europe in part to avoid the horrible racism in America.

Striker knows where its roots lie. Its branches hang from the same retro-trad metal family tree as Enforcer, White Wizzard, Skull Fist, Wolf and Steelwing. Their influences are heavily steeped in NWOBHM played by bands such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon, early Def Leppard and Tygers of Pan Tang. Striker also has traces of American metal played by Riot, Racer X and Vicious Rumors.

Bongo Fury captures Captain Beefheart aka Don Van Vliet with Frank Zappa during their brief reunion for a series of shows in the spring of 1975. This album is a pastiche of both live performances – taken from two evenings at the Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, TX – and studio recordings that were almost a year-and-a-half old. This is the last album to feature the highly technical jazz fusion of Mothers of Invention, whose roots can be traced back to 1973 circa Over-Nite Sensation. The live portions are highlighted by the latest addition to the band – frenetic percussionist extraordinaire Terry "Ted" Bozzio, who would stay with Zappa for a majority of the '70s.
