The The Rockin' Blues Express is a supercharged collection of songs reflecting the many aspects of modern blues, roots and rock! Influences include Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Jimi Henedrix, Duane Allman, Gary Moore, Johnny Winter and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
Recorded in 1986 as their first album, with David Vincent producing, but never put out. They finally released it through Earache after a series of bootlegs were produced. Do not list this release as a demo or compilation. It is specified, on the cover, that it was intended to be their first full-length album, yet unreleased, making "Altars of Madness" their proper debut.
The original CD version contains 4 bonus tracks with a few guitar solos altered from their original versions. 2002 re-Issue including 'Immortal Rites' bonus video.
This is one of the first albums to be recorded entirely through a computer. Musically, Perverse is a synthesis of techno/rave dance music with traditional pop/rock songs and structures (…) When Perverse clicks, Jesus Jones gives the listener an idea of how enjoyable a successful marriage of techno and rock could be.

The music of Freak Clinic has developed from twenty years of Doc Hop’s work with numerous talented musicians. The tonality and rhythm especially have been informed by two deceased band members, chord chemist Kevin Crosson and bassman Buster Cherry (Mikael Van De Ven), who termed the Doc’s music “Thug Rock”.
