Compilation of 18 songs selected from the best of the work of jazz guitarist Jean Baptiste "Django" Reinhardt (Belgium, 1910-1953). Django was the first jazz musician with European roots who served with his music and his guitar a certain influence similar to that of the great American artists. His music fused jazz swing and traditional gypsy music from Eastern Europe, creating what became known as 'gypsy jazz' or 'gipsy swing', which in French is called 'jazz manouche'. Their sound was often romantic and cheerful if not very flexible. Its influence on the swing and the country was very important.

Album first published in analog format in Germany in 1982 and reissued on CD in 1998 by Polydor. Collect a total of 16 selected topics of greatest hits from movies and arranged on the own particular Last's style. The CD takes the tittle, 'Moonriver' from 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', but additionally includes versions of prominent film cuts as 'Around the world' (from 'Around the World in 80 Days'),' A string of pearls' (from 'The Glenn Miller Story'), the 'Lara's Theme' (from 'Doctor Zhivago') or 'love Theme from the Godfather', etc.
