Downbeat grooves from Scandinavian shores. Ease Division is the first in a series of downbeat and chill-out compilations on Spiral Trax. It has been compiled by Michael Andresen who is also known for his own productions as 12 Moons and Healer. The compilation features a genuine collection of who's who from the Swedish dance scene.

In addition, Linkin Park's song "Powerless", from their 2012 album Living Things premiered in the official trailer to Abraham Lincoln and was the first song to be played over the closing credits, followed by "The Rampart Hunter". However, the song was not featured in the soundtrack.

Alphaville's second album, produced for the most part by Peter Walsh, found the group creating something close to a concept record, in overall atmosphere and structure if not in specific storyline.
