The last official studio album for Virgin, "Hyperborea", was recorded in August 1983. The title refers to the mythological land beyond the cold North wind, an earthly paradise of eternal sunshine. In Rudolf Steiner's anthroposophical book Hyperborea is named as the second earth race after the so called Polaric race, followed by the Lemurian, Atlantis and Aric race.

After the success of "Bloody Tourists", and the artsy excess of "Look Hear?", Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman gave the rest of the band their walking papers, and recorded this album as a duo. Sounding fresh and energized, this was by far 10cc's best album since 1977's "Deceptive Bends".

As it goes all great things come to an end. But, we have the ability to hold forever the sounds of the past. This is the best of the best of ACCEPT. True it does not have all there best but it has what they could fit on it. This box set brings back the old school styled ACCEPT we always wish to hear.

The music of French and particularly Parisian themed served pianist, composer, arranger and conductor Solomon Schwartz (London, 1913-2002), aka 'Stanley Black' in 1957 to record this album away from his usual Latin style. A repertoire of twelve songs allows both his piano and other instrumental elements of his orchestra (could miss the accordion?) offer a repertoire of unforgettable melodies with his unique style and interpretive arrangements.

1994 Cold's Strobe Light Network was a club hit all over Europe. DJs paid ridiculous amounts for a rare copy of the track which is considered a true classic by both Sven Väth as well as Alex Azary. Written and produced was Strobe Light Network by Isar Logi Arnarson, who is also around on the 66º North -10 on Elektrolux. The legendary original track was released by the small Icelandic Label Code records and was licensed by Reload in Belgium. The Remixes of Strobe Light Network by Sven Väth and Ralf Hildenbeutel as well as Flow.Machine are released exclusively on Elektrolux. A definite classic.

Frans Brüggen (* Amsterdam 30-10-1934 - † Amsterdam 13-08-2014). Bruggen brings the music to life admirably capturing both the grandeur and sparkle of the music. His acute rhythmic sense brings great rewards to these performances and Haydn certainly gives his interpreters plenty to think about in this direction.

She has created works across nearly every genre, from rags to operas and works for robotic instruments to a full scale choral symphony. Her music featured at the opening ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and the 2003 Rugby World Cup.
