In August 2008, Unitopia signed a three album deal with InsideOut Music, Germany, the leading progressive rock record company in the world. Unitopia is the only Australian band to have signed with this label to this day. In November 18th, 2008, InsideOut Music released Unitopia’s 2nd CD, “The Garden”. The 15 track double CD firmly established Unitopia as one of the premiere progressive rock acts in the world.

She heard pop music on radio and records and from a very early age had ambitions to become a singer. She sang in school shows and also in some teenage bands. Mainly, though, these years were spent studying for a Bachelor of Science degree and qualifying as a speech therapist. At 21 Lane moved to Sydney where she sang in clubs and pubs with a soul funk band and also with a jazz trio. She also began writing her own songs. A trio album that displays guitarist Jim Hall's absolute refusal to grow old, Something Special is a treat to listen to. Accompanied by pianist/organist Larry Goldings, who sticks to piano for the recording, and bassist Steve LaSpina, the music on Something Special is often introspective, sometimes jovial, but always adventurous. A few of the album's best moments are the ones in which the trio is pared down. "Deep in a Dream," tperformed as a solo piece by Hall, is soft and lush. Goldings' "Up for Air" is played as a duet by the pianist and guitarist, and their treatment of it is light and energetic, taking advantage of the absence of a bass…

As he set to work on Monuments to an Elegy, the second "album within an album" within the larger Teargarden by Kaleidyscope project, Billy Corgan slowly whittled down Smashing Pumpkins to himself and guitarist Jeff Schroeder.

This holiday collection, which clocks in at just less than 30 minutes in length, was originally released in this same sequence in 1963 as Christmas With the Platters, and has been reissued several times since in slightly different configurations and under varying titles. If you bear in mind that the Platters only did one Christmas session, then it probably doesn't matter which of these you pick up, although the sound on this 2004 edition is superb.

The band’s debut album – ‘Shoot The Moon’ was released in 2010 and saw the band augmented by Californian guitarist Marty Townsend and drummer Marcus Weymaere. All in all ‘Godspeed’ is a Progressive Rock album of fine songs and excellent musicianship that should appeal instantly to fans of most of the more song-based Progressive Rock bands around in the 70’s and 80’s.

Guitarist and songwriter, Sebastian Fjordevik, who has over the years played in several notorious metal bands, had come to terms that in the winter of 2009 a vast amount of music material had to be delivered to the world. He started with the song “When She Cries” and contacted singers Christopher Kristensen, an experienced singer from several rap/- hardcore bands, and Nils-petter Nilsson , a man rooted in the field of classic rock as well as metal. Also, experienced death metal drummer, Tommy Magnusson, was hired for the project. Christopher and Nils-Petter soon saw the potential with the music and immediately started to work with the song and became solid members of the soon to be band, dEMOTIONAL.
