Marilyn McCoo was the primary lead singer in "The 5th Dimension" back in the 60's and early 70's. This is her Christmas CD released in 1998. It's a very traditional recording and I just love her voice. I hope you guys will enjoy this too.

"Through the Storm" is the twelfth studio album by American heavy metal band Riot. It was released on August 26, 2002. It is the only Riot album to feature drummer Bobby Rondinelli, best known for his work with Rainbow and Black Sabbath. We're in 2002 and, 25 years after their first album, they are making almost the same music as in their first years. It's evident they are not the most innovative band in the world but, people who like classic Heavy and Power Metal will be grateful for records like this one in the XXI century. Japanese edition of this album has an extra track: Somebody. And the CD has two cover songs "Only You Can Rock Me" of UFO and "Here Comes the Sun" of The Beatles.

This is quite rare case for ambient/experimental genre - as stated in the sleeve notes, no samplers or electronic instruments were used in the creation of this record. It's really hard to tell that its true, since there are all sorts of complex effects and layered sounds which might take a lot of time to create without modern equipment. The record starts with the tribal beat and sounds quite dreamy overall. There are, however, moments when listener is taken on a journey a-la Zoviet-France - scary, unpredictable and downright frightening choirs and sounds abound.

Dipping back into Murrell's archive of quality output we now offer you Black Ice's 1982 self-titled release for LA's Montage label, available for the first time ever on compact disc. This is not to be confused with the group's debut of the same name. Once again Antone Curtis, Cleveland Jones, Frank Willis, Gerald Bell and Marcieal Holmes entered the studio with Mr. Murrell producing. Many consider this the groups strongest showing to date. However, the year was 1982 and being that the times and the public's tastes were changing the resulting full-length ended up being the group's swan song. In retrospect, the recording has stood the test of time with original issues of the vinyl going for hundreds whether the price is in dollars, pounds or euros.
