    After three albums, each one more surprising than the other - published between 1997 and 2002 - Atrox has lost their focus a bit with "Orgasm", an album less elaborated and less corageous than usual. Right after it the band went through a crisis due to the leaving of Monika Edvardsen, chamaleon-vocalist which characterized the band's sound more than any other musician since the beginning. The core of the band is still the same as usual (the two guitar players Rune Sorgard and Eivind Fjoseide, plus the drummer Tor-Arne Helgesen), but it's not easy to approach "Binocular" considering that now Atrox are lead by a male vocalist.

    Hoodoo is an unreleased studio album by John Fogerty. It was recorded in the late spring of 1976 and intended to be his third solo album.
    After the John Fogerty solo album, Fogerty wasted no time in recording more material for a new album to be followed with a tour, which would be very low-key, with a small group of musicians. In April, 1976, he released a new single, "You Got the Magic" backed with "Evil Thing," which barely made it to the charts (#87 on the Billboard Hot 100) and did not sell a great deal. Fogerty submitted Hoodoo to Asylum Records, which assigned it a catalogue number, 7E-1081. Shortly before shipment, however, Fogerty and Asylum's Joe Smith made a joint decision that the album didn't merit release.

    Initially recorded on tapes, the composiitons were digitized, completed on Arturia Origin synthesizer and remixed. Zanov has a unique style, powered by his determination and capacity to create the totality of the sound matter which constitute his musical compositions. Zanov is resurging after his 3 albums (vinyls) "Green ray" (Polydor) in 1977, "Moebius" (Polydor) in 1978 and "In cours of time" (Solaris) in 1982.

    The long anticipated new Pineapple Thief album 10 Stories Down is now due. This stunning set of new songs that is easily the best produced by the band to date. Lush arrangements sit alongside the traditional sonic canvas of guitars, bass, drum, vocals and keyboards (Mellotrons, Hammond, Prophet 5 and Fender Rhodes). Pieces here consist mostly of song based material of a melancholy nature with more than a little alternative influence. Bruce Soords tell tale guitar work has never been so cutting with some soaring soloing amongst the memorable songs, especially on the 15 minute ending epic.
