Lemon Popsicle is an Israeli film directed by Boaz Davidson and was released in 1978. It was an immediate hit in Israel and has since acquired cult status and spawned eight sequels. The soundtrack contains a nice balance of sentimental songs such as Brian Hyland's 'Sealed With A Kiss' and out-and-out rockers like Little Richard's 'Tutti Frutti', giving us an intriguing glimpse into the way rock'n'roll was appreciated in other parts of the world at that time.

Everything Glows was the seventh album released by Danish rock band D-A-D. The album was released on April 13, 2000, and was the first album with new drummer Laust Sonne. With the release of this album the band also changed the spelling of the band from D:A:D to the current D-A-D.

The sound of the group is warm and pleasant to the ear and apart from some lack of definition from the recording the blend of woodwind and strings is exemplary. My notes include the terms "Viennese lilt" (second movement Adagio) "irresistible" (Allegro Vivace), "smiling" (the minuet) and a single word "excellent " for the Theme and Variations. Prior to their ROSfest performance in 2012, Sanguine Hum had recently signed to the Esoteric Antenna label for the release of the Diving Bell album and it therefore seems appropriate that the label have made the concert available on CD with the added bonus of the visual. Although the audio has been previously available as a download, this excellently packaged CD/DVD release of Sanguine Hum’s performance on the Sunday morning of 6th May 2012 from the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg is certainly worth the investment.
