The solid soulful team of Chris Foreman, Greg Rockingham and Bobby Broom together as The Deep Blue Organ Trio continue to explore the classic soul-jazz combo configuration of the Hammond B3 organ, guitar and drums. Their latest relase, a live recording called Goin' To Town, takes us to the Green Mill, where they created their sound & have been exciting crowds Tuesday nights for the last 3 years.

Ultra-Violence is a young Italian Thrash Metal band formed around Turin in the autumn of 2009 for an idea of Loris Castiglia (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Andrea Vacchiotti (lead guitar). The line-up is completed in a short time by Roberto ''Robba'' Dimasi (bass) and Simone Verre (drums).The Italian Thrash Metal band worked on the cover with the famous designer Ed Repka who has already worked with bands such as Megadeth, Death, Massacre, Atheist, Defiance, Vio-Lence, Uncle Slam and many more.

Norwegian adrenaline-pushers of heavy rock and roll, KVELERTAK will release their highly anticipated sophomore album entitled "Meir" (which means "more" in English) on March 26 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was produced by CONVERGE's Kurt Ballou and features cover artwork by John Dyer Baizley.

Created in 2011 for Isabella Oliver's 20 years of stage performance. The idea is to explore an original repertoire of 12 original songs ranging from solo to Big Sea Band (octet), and through a new sextet composed by David Linx, Norma Winstone, David Venitucci, Michel Benita and Peter Erskine. Surprise guests, and sometimes other disciplines, can enrich both musically and textually the subject at hand.

Legendary hard rock vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) sings three songs on the new album from THE JAN HOLBERG PROJECT, "At Your Service", which is being released in Norway in January via Nordic Records. Also making guest appearances on the CD are former RAINBOW keyboardist Tony Carey, Age Sten Nilsen (WIG WAM), Gulli Briem, Skjalg Mikalsen Raaen, Eypor Gunnarsson, Fridrik Karlsson and Ranveig Seljemark.

Double-CD reissue of two Ozric Tentacles studio albums originally released as cassette albums. Both albums have been remastered for this release; neither has been remixed. All of the basics of the Ozric Tentacles sound and method are well in evidence, though in a slightly rougher and narrower form - the layers of sound are not quite as intense and rich as they later came to be (bass could definitely use a boost; part of the listening experience is, unfortunately, contained in fiddling with EQ controls to alleviate this kind of thing) and there are some moments where it becomes obvious that there was no money available to go back for another take, or to spend time editing what they had…
