The Notting Hillbillies was a country music project formed by Steve Phillips and Brendan Croker with Mark Knopfler, who was then lead guitarist and singer of Dire Straits, and Knopfler's bandmate Guy Fletcher. They made just one album, Missing…Presumed Having a Good Time. This album was released on Vertigo in the UK (Warner Bros. in the US) in 1990, before returning to concentrate on their primary musical outlets.
DVD version of the only Notting Hillbillies concert filmed for TV, in Snape 1990. This version is taken from 'Rocksteady' broadcasted in the UK and includes band rehearsals / interview in studio before you can watch the concert. The show contain rare songs from this concert: Bewildered, Railroad Worksong, Dallas Rag. As bonus - two rare TV shows from 1990, very interesting. VHS Source.
