Mathieu Lussier, a Canadian composer and bassoonist born in 1973 contributed four pieces to the CD, including a concerto with the same instrumentation as Hindemith's. ...The most striking piece of his is Bacchanale, which he originally wrote for flute, bassoon, and piano trio, but arranged for the forces on this recording. The rhythmic quirkiness and witty lightheartedness of its second section make it a fun piece that deserves wider exposure.

Having recently concluded his Halvorsen series, Neeme Järvi continues his Nordic project with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. This is Volume 2 in the survey of orchestral works by the Norwegian composer Johan Svendsen, a contemporary of Grieg. In the Cello Concerto, the orchestration is perhaps more introvert than what we usually hear in Svendsen’s music.

"Shakira" is the eponymous tenth studio album by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, scheduled to be released on 21 March 2014 by RCA Records. It is her first English-language album since her eighth studio album She Wolf (2009). Work of the American composer and conductor Carl Davis (New York, 1936) leading the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and featuring 'The Wihan Quartet'. The first CD features a compilation work of the various passages of some of the movies of Chaplin with music composed by himself. Most of the fourteen topics include medleys of several of the outstanding compositions of Chaplin's films. The second CD offers another work produced by Carl Davis focused on the twelve magnificent short films that Chaplin created in 1916-17 for the 'Mutual Film Company'.
