A hard-to-find CD released by an obscure group of fusion sessionists. They have a typical 80s tone in their rockish fusion jazz compositions. Try them, you might like them if you hanker after the 80s AOR genre. Main melody lines are dominated by sax and dan-huff style guitars.

Pariah's Child is the eighth and upcoming studio album by Finnish power metal band Sonata Arctica. It will be released on March 28, 2014 by Nuclear Blast. It is the first Sonata Arctica release with new bassist Pasi Kauppinen, who replaced Marko Paasikoski.

David Sanborn (Florida, 1945) is the protagonist of another successful album of his career, which allowed him to win the Grammy for 'Best instrumental interpretation of Rhythm & Blues' by theme 'All I need is you', a vaporous and sexy theme inescapable in his music. In this work David was accompanied by a set of eight veterans study instrumentalists, among which are noteworthy composer and bassist Marcus Miller, Hiram Bullock on electric guitar and Steve Gadd on drums manifests.

Sixteenth album of the Bert Kaempfert record production, which again shows the unique sound of his orchestra, with a great 'big-band' style and the role of the metal and trumpet. The repertoire meets some famous titles and standards of Latin music and four additional pieces of his own creation or colaboración. The instrumental expression, atmosphere and format appear in Latin dance rhythms like rumba, bolero, mambo, cha cha, bossanova or merengue.

Young trumpeter Philip Dizack is a new name on the Criss Cross record label but not a new name for those who closely follow the New York jazz scene. Since his arrival in New York, Dizack has been making waves and winning awards with his beautiful tone and dark intensity, both of which were on full display on his last album, End of an Era (Truth Revolution Records, 2012). For his Criss Cross debut, Dizack continues his maturation as a composer and player, contributing seven original tunes to this inspired recital. On "Single Soul," Dizack is accompanied by fellow newcomers to the Criss Cross label, Ben Wendel on tenor sax, and Eden Ladin on piano, also both young musicians who have been steadily gaining attention on the New York scene. Filling out the band are Criss Cross veterans, Joe Sanders on bass and Eric Harland on drums, giving the group a strong rhythmic foundation.

Richard Sinclair is of course one of the founding fathers and general good guys of Canterbury Prog. He is probably best known for his work with Caravan, hence the band name. The line up here draws from the great and the good of Canterbury, including Richard's cousin Dave, Jimmy Hastings of Caravan, and Andy Ward, drummer with Camel.
