CD album reissue of the original recording published in 1966 by the Canadian jazz pianist and composer Oscar Peterson (Montreal, 1925-2007). Peterson was called the "Maharaja of the keyboard" and went on to win eight Grammy awards during his career. In this album he added to his usual trio, with bassist Sam Jones and drummer Louis Hayes, a superb Latin rhythm section, including Marshall Thompson, Harold Jones and Henley Gibson. The title is really misleading. This music is not Spanish, but Brazilian soul.

Knorkator is a German band from Berlin that combines heavy metal with comical elements. They proclaim themselves to be "Germany's most band in the world" (German: "Deutschlands meiste Band der Welt"), as the title "The best band in the world" was already taken by Die Ärzte. The band was founded in 1994, but only played in the Berlin/Brandenburg area until 1998. Knorkator's music can be largely classified as industrial metal, somewhat akin to White Zombie and Ministry. Knorkator, however, strongly features a comedic element. Most songs escalate into falsetto vocals and bombastic, over-the-top anthemic choruses, with crushing guitars and subtle samplers. Due to the amusing message, however, the band's considerable technical and artistic merit is sometimes overlooked.

Resistor defines the prog sub-genre, Crossover, fusing atmospheric moods similar to that of some of the modern space/psych bands and time travellin' back to '70's hooking the heaviness of Rush and the prog/folk of Jethro Tull with winds and strings. After two solid album with vocals, comes Resistor's only all instrumental album called The Secret Island Band Jams. It was released in 2011 and contains both improvised and composed tracks.
