On November 15 Blackmore’s Night released an updated version of their Christmas album Winter Carols. The 2013 edition comes on 2 CDs, with the first appear to be identical with the original album that came out in 2006, and second one containing bonus tracks.

Indie Recordings has announced the signing of Norwegian black metallers KAMPFAR. The band's sixth studio album, "Djevelmakt" (English-language translation: Devil Power) will be released on January 27, 2014 .According to a press release, "Djevelmakt" "proves that 20 years of existence does not dull the blade, but grinds it into a sharpness more scything than ever before."

As usual Swedish riff monster - and yet quiet and intricate than before. Who Truckfighters does not yet know, the person was told that the trio Sweden represents an extremely massive, often abrasive variant of Stoner-/Fuzz rock and wild riffend mow down everything, especially in the legendary live shows. At least that was until now, but now the sound in the development now four albums has become quite sophisticated. "Universe" can not already fully capture the first pass, as many facets come into play in the songs and in particular the exchange between the various riffs and passages running much faster.

A wonderful pairing of jazz giant Louis Armstrong with revered father of the blues composer W.C. Handy. These historic sessions from 1954 and 1956 include St. Louis Blues; Loveless Love , plus five previously unreleased tracks.

Supertramp Live In Paris '79 is presented on Blu-ray courtesy of Eagle Vision (an imprint of Eagle Rock Entertainment) with an AVC encoded 1080p transfer in 1.78:1. The concert was evidently originally filmed in 16mm, and for that small scale format, things look remarkably good here. In fact, they might look a little too good, especially in some isolated shots. While there's quite a bit of grain and fuzziness in the wide shots and even midrange shots (as should be expected of this format), some of the close-ups look awfully clean, which makes me a little suspicious that perhaps some DNR has been applied.
