Ismaël Margain (prize-winner in the Long-Thibaud competition 2012) and Guillaume Bellom (piano prize, Besançon Young Musicians competition 2008) illustrate the intimacy and the close sharing of musical pleasure that are major features of Schubert's piano duets.

The 'Parranda Cuasquías' took that name to open doors in Las Palmas (Spain) in 1982 in the club 'Cuasquías', meeting place for lovers of Latin and salsa music from both sides of the Atlantic. The group on this recording consists of twelve members, who play alongside the vocal and instrumental versions of the main samba album's title song, seven other Latin rhythms of merengue or salsa.

New York-based architects of progressive musical madness Theater Of The Absurd have completed work on their new album, "The Myth Of Sisyphus", for a December 13 release via Graviton Music Services.

This is one of the last recordings of American trumpeter Robert Leo "Bobby" Hackett (Rhode Island, 1915-1976). During the 30s and 40s he worked with the bands of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and Casa Loma Orchestra. He later worked with dozens of artists (Teddy Wilson, Jack Teagarden, Eddie Condon, Tony Bennett, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, etc..) and from the 50s until his death he continued acting and rec ording with several small groups. The repertoire of ten themes of the album is dominated by Dixieland and swing standards.

BRINGING IN THE DARLINGS is Josh Ritter's EP of six new songs. This EP is the first studio recording in several years that does not feature Josh's touring group, the Royal City Band. The only person in the studio with Ritter was Brooklyn-based producer Josh Kaufman, who contributed most of the other instruments. Ritter sums up the EP: 'I knew I wasn't making my next album here, but something smaller, and that smallness felt really good. I was listening to a lot of early Buddy Holly, Ricky Nelson, and the Everly Brothers, and the mood struck me one day to sit down and put to tape some songs that felt graceful and uncomplicated. Simplicity was what I wanted, musically and lyrically. During the winter months, simpler fare sticks to the ribs, but hopefully it tastes just as good'.
