This lyrical, introverted, and sometimes exquisite set of duets by guitarist Jim Hall and bassist Red Mitchell was originally made for John Snyder's Artist House label and later reissued on CD by MHS. Hall and Mitchell always had big ears, and although the music is at a low volume and the duo stretches out on a bit on their four originals, the Mexican folk song "Blue Dove" and "Fly Me to the Moon," there are no sleepy moments.

New self-produced album of the japanese Iron Attack!

This was the ninth album released by Brazilian singer Astrud Gilberto (Bahia, 1940). Her voice sample, as in other works, warm, soft and intimate, becoming also delicate, comfortable and even homely. Perhaps her voice has not been highlighted enough on the instrumentation and here has not that Latin stamp of his great bossa recordings. Astrud feels comfortable with these serene and intimate pop songs, singing messages of love and nostalgia accompanied by strings.

Recording of the German author, composer, arranger and director Werner Müller (Berlin, 1920-1998) and his orchestra, published in Germany compiling a selection of sixteen tunes associated with different parts of the world previously registered between 1961 and 1976, with a repertoire ranging from classical to international, Latin or exotic subjects. All of them are implemented with support of danceable rhythms (tango, bolero, bossa, samba, calypso, etc..).

A beautiful warm late summer night it was when five musicians started one of their most remarkable outdoor concerts in the City of Berlin. To protect the local bats the band had to accept a curfew by 10 pm which was rather sad, because they had a lot more on their playlist. But nevertheless it has been a breathtaking event for those who could attend. On this DVD you will see the whole show and some extras behind the scenes, some with a laugh and some with an ironic attitude. So enjoy a warm summer night’s show!
